Job Summary

Kindred Hospital Sycamore is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our team on a seasonal basis. As a critical care specialist, you will play a vital role in the recovery process for chronically ill and medically complex patients.

Responsibilities

  • Administer safe and competent respiratory care as ordered by physicians, monitor mechanical ventilation, administer medications, and conduct patient assessments.
  • Understand the ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring, blood work results, and other critical care interventions.
  • Teach and train patients and healthcare staff on respiratory care techniques and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Education required for Registry by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Current Respiratory Therapist License issued from the state.
  • Current credential as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • BLS Certification required.
  • ACLS Certification required.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in an acute care setting preferred.
