Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to establish and revise care plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, students, and other support staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or certificate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Ohio.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Competencies:
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Work Experience:
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in an acute, rehab, or skilled nursing setting.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk, climb stairs, and maintain balance to support patients.
  • Ability to lift and reach to assist patients with therapeutic treatments.
  • Visual acuity to observe patient movements and monitor vital signs.
  • Ability to speak clearly and hear at a conversational level to communicate with patients and families.
