Key Responsibilities
As a Team Lead, you'll be responsible for:
- Overseeing the overall operations of the business, including identifying and resolving training issues and implementing quality control measures.
- Interacting with customers and identifying opportunities to sell additional services.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and team members.
- Implementing and maintaining safety training, equipment maintenance, payroll reporting, and other business processes.
- Assisting with personnel functions, including hiring, promoting, and disciplinary actions.
How We Measure Success
We measure success in several key areas, including:
- Attendance: Ensuring that team members are present and accounted for.
- Budget vs Actual Hours: Managing time spent on jobs to ensure profitability.
- Return Rates: Ensuring quality control to minimize the need for rework.
- Crew Retention: Maintaining a healthy team environment and reducing turnover.
- Customer Retention: Building strong relationships with customers and ensuring exceptional service.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to leadership.
- Experience operating lawn care equipment and knowledge of preventative maintenance.
- Ability to interact with the public and team members in a professional manner.
- Willingness to complete training and obtain required certifications and licenses.
- A clean driving history and experience driving a trailer.
Benefits and Pay
