Mitchell Martin Healthcare is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join their team in New York, New York.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly qualified Mammography Technologist to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mammography and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and obtain additional images as needed.
  • Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques.
  • Explain procedures to patients and provide clear instructions.
  • Print film or burn CDs as necessary.
  • Match images with the appropriate paperwork and perform other related duties.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
  • Treat patients and customers with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams and recognize patient discomfort or medical problems.
Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • NYS Licensed Mammography Tech
  • ARRT (M) Certification & Card
  • Familiarity with MQSA, QC, and Diagnostic imaging protocols
  • Knowledge of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography

We offer a competitive pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
