Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

At AdVantage Rehabilitation, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, patient goals, and clinical judgment.
  • Provide evidence-based speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensed or Eligible for licensure in the state in which practicing.
  • Certification of Clinical Competency (CCC) by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or be completing the ASHA Clinical Fellowship Year requirements.
