Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled LPN Wound Care Specialist to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting healing and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Perform wound care treatments, including dressing changes, ointments, and sprays, in accordance with center policies and procedures.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to promote wound healing and prevent complications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on wound care and management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current license as a LPN in the state where the center is located.
- Wound certification preferred.
- Current CPR certification required, ACLS preferred.
- Prior work/life experiences in a healthcare setting.
- Prior experience in treatment nursing care is desirable.
