Job Summary

The Senior Risk Management Analyst will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and validating methods of measuring and analyzing risk across various risk types, including market, credit, and operational. This role will also involve developing, validating, and strategizing the use of scoring models and scoring model-related policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, analytics, and modeling, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance risk measurement and analysis methods for various risk types.
  • Develop, validate, and strategize the use of scoring models and scoring model-related policies.
  • Conduct statistical analysis for risk-related projects and data modeling/validation.
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods, including SAS programming, SQL, and Visual Basic programming language.
  • Prepare statistical and non-statistical data exploration, validate data, and identify data quality issues.
  • Conduct data analysis, data mining, and create formal statistical documentation and reports.
  • Analyze and interpret data reports, make recommendations addressing business needs, and present results to non-technical audiences.
  • Use predictive modeling methods, optimize monitoring systems, document optimization solutions, and create formal documentation using statistical vocabulary.
  • Generate statistical models to improve methods of obtaining and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data and identify relationships and trends in data and factors affecting research results.
  • Validate assumptions, escalate identified risks and sensitive areas in methodology and process, and automate data extraction and data preprocessing tasks.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in risk management, analytics, and modeling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
