Teaching Professor of Nursing Position

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a Teaching Professor position in the School of Nursing at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to join our faculty and contribute to the development of the next generation of nursing professionals.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching nursing courses across various academic programs, including undergraduate and graduate-level courses. They will also be expected to engage in service activities that benefit the teaching mission of the School of Nursing and the university, as well as pursue research in the scholarship of teaching and learning in Nursing.
Specifically, we seek candidates who demonstrate expertise in pedagogy, curriculum design, instructional design and implementation, teaching evaluation, and the ability to teach across academic programs. They should also have experience with learning management systems and online teaching modalities.
The successful candidate will be expected to seek external funding for research and scholarly activities that enhance instruction, and to publish the results of their scholarly work in nursing education in peer-reviewed sources.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a terminal degree (e.g., DNP, or PhD in Nursing or related field) and clinical experience and expertise at the advanced practice level (NP or CNS) in the specialty area of psychiatric mental health, acute care gerontology, family practice (FNP), maternity, women's health, pediatrics, medical surgical nursing, or oncology of nursing.
