About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining a strategic relationship between business partners and the IT development team at Surescripts.

This individual will become the subject matter expert for Surescripts products, working closely with product management, business leaders, development teams, and customers to discover, define, and communicate business processes and workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit requirements for new products or enhancements through collaboration with internal and external representatives.
  • Document business workflow and process diagrams, business use cases, business requirements, and business impacts or impact/data and gap analysis.
  • Leverage user-centered design principles to ensure requirements meet end-user needs.
  • Collaborate with product managers to plan and develop product and strategic roadmaps.
  • Present and lead review discussions of business documents, finalize documents for walkthrough and communication to product teams, development teams, and other business teams.
  • Create detailed business requirements and work with systems analysts to help create technical system requirements.
  • Consult with product analysts to identify design considerations and business issues or enhancements requiring further product development.
  • Determine data analysis and reporting requirements as input to the definition of business requirements.
  • Provide product support internally and externally.
  • Participate in business participant workshops or standards bodies as needed.
  • Participate in product rollout, pilots, and beta testing.
  • Coordinate user testing and product capability demos as needed to ensure product meets requirements and expectations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in related, progressive roles.
  • 2+ years of experience as a business analyst, system analyst, or quality analyst, or experience in a position where understanding healthcare business requirements and product is key.
  • Training or experience in creating use cases, business modeling, and business requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving projects independently.

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package, which may also include bonus, benefits, etc. The base pay range for this position is $107,300 - $131,100 per year.
