Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate
  • Knowledge of sterile technique, operating room procedures, and equipment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of scrubbing experience in an inpatient or ambulatory OR setting
  • Ability to rotate through sterile core area
  • Knowledge of instrument cleaning and reprocessing
