Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pavement Marking Technician to join our team at McShea Contracting. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the pavement marking process, including operating thermoplastic trucks, paint trucks, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers by hand and forklift
  • Operate large and small vehicles, including thermoplastic trucks and paint trucks
  • Effectively operate various vehicles and equipment, including hand machines, fork lifts, and 3M hand-tape machines
  • Install preformed thermo and follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
  • Regularly required to stand/walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop; and kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
  • Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles
  • Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR
Travel:
  • Overnight travel can be required and can extend up to a week, with little to no notice. Stipends and per diems will be provided by the company.
  • You may be asked to work around the state of Florida, not just in the Lehigh and surrounding areas.
Preferred:
  • CDL A or B license holder
