Job Summary:

The Yard Associate is a key member of our team, responsible for interacting with customers in the yard area of our operation. This role requires a personable, friendly, and courteous individual who can effectively greet and assist customers, as well as thank them for their business once the load is complete.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in the yard area, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Load and unload building materials, stacking and cleaning as needed.
  • Participate in the delivery of lumber and building materials, working in a non-air-conditioned environment.
  • Meet physical demands of the role, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:

  • Basic education, including the ability to read and write.
  • No training or experience is required, but must have writing and reading skills.
  • Building material knowledge is preferred, but not required.
