Job Title: Registered Nurse - Thoracic Surgery

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Thoracic Surgery team in Brighton, MA.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our 30-bed Thoracic, Vascular and Laryngeal Surgery unit. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will be responsible for managing the care of patients undergoing complex thoracic, esophageal, pulmonary, laryngeal, tracheal resections and reconstruction, as well as diverse vascular surgeries.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including chest tube management, tracheal tube care, pain management, and telemetry monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of kindness and respect.
