Radiologic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) to join our team at Summit Medical Group of Oak Ridge. This is a full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

• Take x-rays following established protocols, utilizing shielding equipment and adhering to OSHA requirements for patient care and safety.

• Maintain and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors in a timely manner, guaranteeing optimal performance.

• Process radiologic logs and other paperwork accurately and efficiently.

• Ensure examination rooms are well-stocked with necessary medical and radiologic supplies.

• Develop, process, and file radiologic film according to site protocol.

• Assist with clinical procedures as needed and maintain required certifications, including radiologic and CPR.

• Adhere to corporate compliance policies and actively participate in site-level quality improvement activities.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.

• At least six months' experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration, State of Tennessee Medical X-Ray Operator required. Current CPR certification.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
