About the Role

We are seeking a part-time caregiver to join our team at FirstLight Home Care. As a caregiver, you will provide companionship and mobility assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Follow care plans and record daily tasks to ensure our clients receive the best possible care.
  • Provide companionship and mobility assistance to help our clients stay active and engaged.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing, to promote our clients' dignity and well-being.
  • Prepare meals and provide medication reminders to support our clients' health and wellness.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and insured, reliable transportation to ensure timely and safe travel to client visits.
  • The ability to work at least 16 hours per week and one weekend per month to meet the needs of our clients.
  • At least six months of experience in caregiving for the elderly, with a focus on dementia care.
  • The ability to pass a national background check and drug screen to ensure our clients' safety and well-being.
