Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to fill a contract position in North Charleston, SC. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including blood draws, urinalysis, and other diagnostic tests
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and other instruments
- Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate test results
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient care and support
Requirements:
- ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments
