Job Description

In this role, you will be part of the Mechanical Design Engineering team, based in our San Diego office. Your work environment at EXP will involve working with engineers to achieve project results timely and accurately.

  • Generate drawings from engineer's markups using REVIT.
  • Utilize HVAC load calculation software to achieve meaningful results.
  • Efficiently research codes, references, standards to assist engineers.
  • Generate handwritten calculations and other hand-done engineering task assignments.
What You'll Experience
  • Working on projects with experienced engineers to deliver high-quality results.
  • Developing your skills in REVIT and HVAC load calculation software.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry standards and codes.
Requirements
  • A minimum of sophomore status in an accredited Bachelor's Degree Program in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Fluent in engineering problem-solving.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and concepts effectively.
  • Interest in the HVAC consulting industry.
  • Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • A self-starter with a results-oriented approach.
  • Organized daily tasks.
  • Personable in working with colleagues.
  • A level of understanding and experience in CAD/3-D skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $20-$25 per hour, depending on your skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
