URD Foreman

Job Summary:

Danella Companies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled URD Foreman to oversee a team of union laborers and operators. This field management role involves supervising, managing, and monitoring crew activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate project milestones to the team and project management
• Monitor crew progress and maintain construction objectives
• Develop and maintain business relationships with customers
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
• Act as point of contact for customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors
• Complete daily Pre-Job Hazard Analysis and weekly toolbox talks
• Secure worksites at the end of each day
• Report equipment/vehicle repairs needed
• Lead by example, modeling proper safety behaviors and maintaining a drug-free work environment
• Assist in investigations of incidents and claims
• Train new crew members following Danella policies and safety practices
• Foster trust, accountability, and open communication with crews

Requirements:

• Specialized training in a relevant Construction field or equivalent work experience
• Understanding of construction and utility industry practices, processes, and standards
• Advanced technical knowledge within an assigned LOB or construction specialty
• Exposure to industry-relevant software
• Moderately complex problem-solving skills
