Responsibilities:

  • Modify and adapt curriculum materials to ensure accessibility and promote student engagement and success.
  • Utilize various instructional strategies, accommodations, and assistive technologies to facilitate student learning and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or licensure for Special Education.
  • Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Understanding of individualized instruction, behavior management techniques, and evidence-based interventions.
