MRI Imaging Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Alton Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced imaging modalities, including MRI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
  • Perform studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area
  • Ensure quality control and patient safety
Requirements
  • Associate or trade school education
  • No experience required, but preferred
  • Licenses and certifications: IEMA (Illinois only), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in diagnostic imaging
  • Certifications in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intravenous therapy
