Literacy Specialist - Guthrie Public Schools

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Literacy Specialist to join our team at Guthrie Public Schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, as well as a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, employees of Guthrie Public Schools receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options.

• Design and implement literacy programs for students in grades K-12.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and teachers.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and program evaluation data.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Oklahoma teaching certification in the area of reading specialist.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
