We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Glens Falls Hospital.
Job Summary:The Travel Nurse RN will provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to laboring mothers and their newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including fetal heart rate and maternal blood pressure.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- 3-5 years of current Epic experience required.
- 2+ years of current L&D/LDRP experience.
- 2+ years of postpartum experience.
- Ability to read and interpret EFM.
- Travel experience encouraged.
- Must have own vehicle.
The Joyce Stock Snuggery at Glens Falls Hospital is a leading family-focused birthing center with 20 beds. The unit is a Level 1 birthing center with an average of deliveries per month.
Additional Details:- Profile Requirements: Work History, Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year, 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment).
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license/certs).
- Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License/State ID. Address will be validated during compliance process.
