Job Title: Grant Administrator

Job Summary:

The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County is seeking a highly skilled Grant Administrator to oversee all grant-related activities, ensuring compliance with grantors and maximizing funding opportunities. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of grants, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Management of grant budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Development and submission of grant proposals and reports
  • Coordination of grant closeout functions, including reconciliations and financial status reports
  • Collaboration with program staff to develop grant proposals and budgets
  • Research and identification of potential grant opportunities
  • Preparation and submission of grant reports and other documentation
  • Staying up-to-date on changes to grant regulations and requirements

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Accounting or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in grant administration or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles

Working Conditions:

The Grant Administrator will work in a fast-paced office environment, with occasional travel required for training and business purposes. The ability to work different schedules and locations in St. Lucie County is required due to changing business demands.

Physical Demands:

The position requires extended talking, listening, sitting, walking, and standing; computer viewing, and keyboard entry. Regularly lifting up to 25 pounds is also required.
