About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Security Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair to our customers' security systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair security systems, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, and card access systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Work independently from a remote location, utilizing the necessary tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate with police, fire departments, and other agencies as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Offer recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities are running efficiently, including upselling opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience installing and inspecting/repairing security systems, preferably with Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
  • Experience with card access/CCTV/IP cameras.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Electrical/Electronic background.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fire alarm experience.
  • Some college education.
  • NICET II or greater certification.
