We are currently seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team.Position Overview:
As a vital member of our surgical team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients before their surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as both circulating and scrub nurse during surgeries.
- Ensuring the surgical environment is prepared and maintained, including the setup of necessary equipment and instruments.
- Assisting in various surgical specialties such as endoscopy, cystology, orthopedics, vascular, and general surgery.
- Providing coverage in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as needed.
Available Shifts:
- (3) days/week - 11am - 11pm
- (3) days/week - 6:30am - 7pm
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of a current and valid nursing license in NC or a compact state.
- BCLS certification required.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in nursing duties across all patient age groups.
Experience:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting is preferred but not mandatory. With appropriate training and practical experience, you should achieve competency in fundamental job responsibilities within six months.
