Position Overview: This role encompasses a variety of essential food service responsibilities aimed at delivering exceptional quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly of patient meal trays and manage dishwashing duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all assigned areas, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide high-quality food service to patients and guests.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Food Service Worker Permit from the appropriate health department is required prior to commencing employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Core Duties:
- Prepare workstations according to assigned tasks and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Ensure proper sanitization practices are followed, including the use of cleaning solutions and maintaining equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons and efficiently fulfilling their orders.
- Demonstrate knowledge of food safety and allergen information to assist customers effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavy carts as needed.
- Capability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
Working Environment:
- Work in a dynamic and sometimes noisy environment, adapting to various temperature conditions.
- Engage with customers and utilize cleaning chemicals safely.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
