Aircraft Furniture Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher II to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and applying finishes to aircraft furniture using aircraft specifications, designs, and engineering drawings.

1. Prepare furniture for finish and disassembly using blueprints, aircraft specifications, and design/engineering drawings.
2. Perform high-quality repairs to various finished surfaces in the shop and aboard aircraft, ensuring a high level of safety, quality, detail, and productivity.
3. Apply finish to furniture using spray equipment and other manual/mechanical methods, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
4. Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, utilizing personal protective equipment to protect aircraft interiors.
5. Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign-off work.

1. Possess a working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications.
2. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
3. Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work any shift.
4. Must be computer literate.
