Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Site Manager to become a vital part of our Southeast Concrete team. This position reports directly to the RMC Area Manager and plays a crucial role in overseeing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient and financially sound operation of the concrete production facility.
  • Supervise and guide site personnel.
  • Champion safety and health protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Manage customer order scheduling and address client needs effectively.
  • Provide coaching and training to site staff on safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain precise inventories of cement, materials, and fuel.
  • Coordinate the dispatch of independent haul trucks to optimize delivery routes.
  • Identify and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
  • Fulfill daily and monthly reporting obligations.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in ready-mix concrete production or a related construction materials field.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to take responsibility for site performance, including the management of personnel and resources, and the ability to work flexible hours and engage in manual tasks.

Work Environment

  • This role is situated in a manufacturing setting, which includes exposure to moving mechanical equipment, varying weather conditions, elevated noise levels, and dusty environments.
