Pharmacy Technician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at University Hospitals. As a key member of our pharmacy staff, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the retrieval, processing, and preparation of medications for patient administration.

• Assist pharmacists in the accurate preparation of patient medications, including non-sterile products and sterile products.
• Deliver patient-specific medications accurately and in a timely manner.
• Inventory, replenish, and maintain drug stock, including automated dispensing cabinets and prescription pick-up kiosks.

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and State of Ohio CPhT license required.
• High School Equivalent/GED required, graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program preferred.
• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or community setting preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
