We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Goodyear. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills to identify and repair issues with vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, and air conditioning.
- Inspect and repair vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, and engine performance, to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay informed of rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Promote teamwork to deliver on-time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
- Maintain expected standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license.
- Must have three years of experience in automotive repair, including automotive diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification.
- A4 Certification in Steering and Suspension and A5 Certification in Brakes and State inspection licenses and/or MAC certification.
