VDC Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented VDC Technician to join our team at CRB. As a VDC Technician, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of project deliverables, working closely with our design and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.

• Develop and implement project documents, including calculations, reports, construction drawings, and specifications, in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
• Assist in the development of conceptual designs and coordinate with the design team under the direction of the project team lead.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and internal and external team members, including vendors, clients, and contractors.

• Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Aided Design, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
• Interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industry strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble).
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards within the AEC industry.
• Prior internship or co-op experience in CAD, BIM, Engineering Design, or related field.

CRB offers a competitive salary range of $19.00/hr.-$23.00/hr. for this position, with a housing stipend available for students whose permanent residence exceeds 40 miles of the office.
