Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring accurate images, and providing excellent patient care.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in radiology and possess a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. You will be responsible for confirming patient identification, reviewing imaging requests, and explaining procedures to patients. Additionally, you will need to position patients correctly, adjust imaging equipment, and prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as needed
  • Position patients correctly and adjust imaging equipment
  • Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure
  • Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in radiology
  • ARRT (R) National Certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
  • State-specific licensing when required
