Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Corpus Christi Medical Center. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As an ER Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with medical providers and other members of the care team to assess patients' needs, develop and implement effective care plans, and evaluate outcomes to improve quality of care.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse include assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing effective care plans, and evaluating outcomes to improve quality of care. You will work collaboratively with medical providers and other members of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and promote a culture of safety and excellence. Additionally, you will participate in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care, and assume the responsibility of charging the department as needed.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a current Texas Licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners, an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), and American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Additionally, one year of experience in Emergency Services (ED) is required. The ideal candidate will also have Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within six months of hire.
