Job Overview

Alleviant Health Centers, the largest full-service outpatient psychiatry practice in Arkansas, is seeking a Senior Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. With over 70,000 patients expected this year, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat mental illnesses through evaluations and medication management, collaborating with the Medical Director.
  • Gather and maintain patient information and health history.
  • Conduct assessments, interviews, and observations.
  • Analyze and evaluate patient data and findings, diagnosing nature and condition of mental disorder.
  • Offer and perform medication management, infusions, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and psychotherapy to patients.
  • Prepare and maintain confidential records and reports.
  • Ensure treatment plans are devised, updated, and conducted.
  • Work collaboratively with the medical director and/or Chief Medical Officer to develop treatment plans.
  • Monitor the use of medications.
  • Advise families on condition and treatment.
  • Refer clients to community resources or specialists as necessary.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of treatment regimen and client's progress.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree as a PMHNP - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the level needed to assess and prescribe medication collaboratively with a psychiatrist as determined by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Be licensed as a psychiatric APRN.
  • Current APRN license in good standing.
  • Excellent clinician with a minimum of 1 year of clinical and administrative experience.
  • Outpatient experience.
  • Board certified.
  • BLS.
  • ACLS.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
