Job Opportunity

Windle Design & Construction, a family-owned design-build construction company, is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to contribute to our team's success. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed, profitable proposals for residential remodel projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform sales budgets into accurate, detailed proposals.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
  • Work closely with our in-house draftsman to produce accurate take-offs and purchase orders.
  • Ensure clear communication of discrepancies and troubleshoot planning issues.
  • Utilize Builder Trend to build estimates and budgets, including cost coding.

Requirements:

  • 6-10+ years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in high-end residential remodeling.
  • Proven ability to create detailed and accurate subcontractor bids, project estimates, and material take-offs.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and different departments.
  • Integrity and professionalism, as this is a sensitive position to the company.
  • Experience with Builder Trend software is required.
  • Must be willing to relocate to West Chester, PA, if not already local.
