Position Overview
The Lead Imaging Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Services, which encompass X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Bone Density. This role ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality imaging services while aligning with the strategic goals of Providence. The supervisor is tasked with developing and maintaining professional clinical standards and collaborating closely with the Senior Manager, Director, PACS Administrator, and radiologists to optimize service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Services.
- Implement departmental objectives and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance service coordination.
- Lead and mentor staff to foster a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Completion of a Radiologic Technology Training Program.
- California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiologic or Nuclear Technologist.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Radiology.
- Experience in a supervisory role within a Radiology Department for at least 2 years.
