About the Job

This Warehouse Tech role plays a vital part in ensuring that our warehouse department runs smoothly and efficiently. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Lead and Senior Warehouse Techs in achieving our shipping schedules and receiving inventory from the packaging department.

Key Tasks:
  • Forklift Operation: 30% - Ensure safe and efficient operation of forklifts in pulling orders and staging container loads
  • Receiving Incoming Shipments: 10% - Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness
  • Loading Outgoing Containers: 20% - Load containers for outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
  • Processing Paperwork: 10% - Process paperwork in computer-based programs, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Receiving Product: 20% - Receive product from the packaging team, inspecting for damage or defects
  • Inventory Counting: 10% - Participate in end-of-month inventory counts, ensuring accurate and reliable data

Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, both in the workplace and when representing Maui Brewing outside of the brewery
  • Accurate record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures, with ability to identify and report potential hazards
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Forklift experience preferred, but not required; local Hawai'i residents preferred

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, disability insurance, and a company matching 401k Plan after 6 months of employment, as well as accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) and a monthly wellness stipend.
