Job Opportunity

BrightStar Care of Lane County is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Shift Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in the Eugene, OR area.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and assistance with daily tasks, including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, and transportation to doctor appointments.
  • Assist clients with active and passive mobility work, as defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to our clients, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance.
  • Excellent references.
  • Access to a computer or smartphone for web-based scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to pass background checks, DMV, and drug screen.
  • Must pass caregiver competencies.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
