We are seeking a highly qualified Program Director for our Medical Radiography Program at Bunker Hill Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the program, teaching, advising, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Medical Radiography Program, ensuring its effectiveness and compliance with JRCERT Accreditation Standards.
- Teach within the program, advising students and monitoring their progress.
- Collaborate with Admissions, Recruitment, and Lifemap on admission requirements, recruitment, and student orientation.
- Represent the program with healthcare organizations and maintain expertise in radiography.
- Ensure the safe functioning of radiography machines and equipment, maintaining compliance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations.
- Actively participate in the Medical Imaging Department and collaborate with the Dean and Assistant Dean of the Health Science Division.
- Responsible for the MRI Certificate Program and actively participate in the general College community.
- Master's Degree.
- Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising.
- Three years clinical experience in Radiography at minimum.
- Two years' experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.
- Holds current ARRT certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiology.
- Valid Massachusetts license in Radiologic Technology (Radiography).
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and students required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing required.
- Five years clinical experience in Radiography strongly preferred.
