About the Role

As a Corrosion Specialist at MasTec Professional Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our clients' infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality results.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corrosion control systems and experience working with cathodic protection. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing field testing and inspections to determine the condition of structures under evaluation
• Compiling and submitting data for senior staff review
• Developing test procedures for complex troubleshooting
• Evaluating field data and preparing draft reports

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• At least 1+ year of experience in corrosion control industry, particularly related to cathodic protection work
• A Government contracts require U.S. Citizenship
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• In lieu of NACE Certification, an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology is required
• Ability to work independently and interact with team members, clients, and management staff
• Ability/willingness to travel as required for the job
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle
• This position may require significant time standing or walking on uneven ground, possible climbing of ladders or being in high places, working in tight spaces, lifting up to 60 pounds, and, in general, being overall physically demanding

Benefits

MasTec Inc offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development.
