Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the installation of guardrail and fencing solutions as per the project specifications and operational guidelines.
- Ensure the safety of all crew members at the job site.
- Plan and manage projects effectively, utilizing daily management processes.
- Monitor project performance metrics, including production rates, timelines, and labor hours.
- Maintain compliance with documentation requirements such as daily logs, checklists, and as-built records.
- Foster positive crew member relations, including performance tracking, development planning, and coaching.
- Guide and mentor technicians in guardrail and fencing installation.
- Coordinate crew travel logistics as necessary.
- Oversee the daily maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, ensuring proper documentation.
- Adhere to quality assurance and testing protocols.
- Promote effective teamwork and communication among all project stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong client-facing communication skills.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry, including project management and knowledge of building materials.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role is required.
- Ability to accurately interpret project scopes, specifications, and timelines while achieving profitability targets.
- Proven capability to motivate teams to deliver quality projects within deadlines.
- Experience managing multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different functions.
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs.
- Familiarity with company-provided technology and hardware.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Physical capability to lift and move up to 100 pounds regularly.
- Proficient in using pneumatic, battery-operated, or electric tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Class A CDL.
- Experience in guardrail and fencing construction is advantageous.
Work Environment:
The characteristics of the work environment include:
- Exposure to varying temperatures, both hot and cold.
- Moderate noise levels, with hearing protection often required.
- Regular exposure to typical construction site hazards.
- Frequent heavy lifting (75 lbs+) of construction materials.
Travel Requirements:
Some out-of-town travel may be necessary.
Compensation:
This position is classified as Non-Exempt, with a pay range of $28.00/hr to $34.00/hr.
