Job Description for Data Engineer at Inficare


Job Summary

Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain large-scale data systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. This role will work closely with the IT team, business application owners, and external partners to integrate multiple systems and data sources.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ETL pipelines to read from various sources, including on-premise databases and files, and prepare data for downstream systems.
  • Develop and maintain API-based connections between internal and external systems to ensure seamless data flow and communication.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and SMEs to map data fields, perform data transformations, and maintain data consistency across systems.
  • Assist in defining the CICD process for application components.
  • Work on technical Proofs of Concept in Snaplogic and other ETL tools as needed.


Requirements

  • Strong analytical and development expertise.
  • Critical understanding of data security standards, data safety, and data auditing.
  • Experience with Snaplogic in a cloud environment, especially AWS Cloud.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
