Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team of sanitation members to achieve exceptional results
- Coach and develop team members to improve individual skills and enhance teamwork
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, production, and sanitation requirements
- Analyze opportunities and plan actions to improve safety, quality, people, and productivity initiatives
- Evaluate and coordinate training needs and efforts for team members
- Lead process improvement efforts to create a culture of excellence
- Manage and maintain sanitation inventory and work closely with chemical suppliers
- Monitor bacteria counts and take corrective actions
- Participate in the selection process for open positions and monitor the master sanitation schedule
- Work closely with USDA inspectors and actively participate in daily sanitation of equipment
- Minimum 3 years of proven leadership ability and knowledge
- Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance (safety, USDA, HACCP)
- Working knowledge of sanitation and sanitary design principles
- Demonstrated communication and listening skills and ability
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently
- Strong ability to make decisions with limited resources
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead by example
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible
