Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop comprehensive care plans for patients, utilizing evidence-based medicine to ensure the highest level of care.
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including physical exams and reviews of symptoms, to inform treatment plans.
- Prescribe and administer medications, as well as dispense medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Supervise and educate medical assistants to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and services to our patients.
- Document patient evaluations, treatments, and medications in accordance with HealthStone policies and procedures.
- Participate in medical staff meetings and contribute to the development of our healthcare team.
Requirements:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensure.
- Previous experience as a healthcare professional, preferably in a primary care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) skills a plus.
