This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare facility and contribute to the success of their Cardiology department. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operate and maintain cardiac catheterization laboratory equipment, including angiography machines and ECG monitors.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with a strong background in cardiovascular care.
- A valid ARRT registration and BLS certification.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
