Welder Craftsman

We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our team at Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Co. Inc.

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Co. Inc. is a leading metal fabrication company that requires a skilled Welder Fabricator to become an integral part of our team. As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding carbon, stainless steel, and aluminum using GMAW and GTAW processes.

• Perform basic repairs on welding/fabrication equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or specifications to prepare metal materials for fabrication and welding.
• Set up welding equipment and adjust welding parameters as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you must have vocational or trade school training in welding and metal fabrication, with proficiency in various welding techniques. You should also possess strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
