Senior Drafter

Metromont Corporation, a leader in the construction industry for nearly a century, is seeking an experienced Senior Drafter to join our dynamic team. Located in Greenville, SC, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the company's success.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K with company match, and paid vacation.

The Senior Drafter will be responsible for designing and preparing electronic erection drawings, shop tickets, and material requisitions from contract drawings and engineering calculations. This includes preparing plans, elevations, sections, and material requirements from sketches, specifications, contract drawings, and responses to requests for information provided by architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and Metromont's internal project management team.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional time-management skills, be an effective communicator, and be able to focus on work tasks for extended periods. They will also possess strong technical skills, including knowledge of Revit and CAD software.

• Associate Degree in Design, Architecture, or related field with coursework in computer-aided design (CAD)
• Minimum two (2) years drafting experience
• Knowledge of Revit and CAD software
• Able to efficiently read blueprints and drawings
• Ability to create detailed electronic (CAD) working plans from data
