About the Role:
Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in performing inpatient and outpatient cardiac ultrasound testing. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for conducting complex technical procedures using ultrasound technology to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 2D echo/Doppler, stress exams, and transesophageal echocardiograms
- Provide technical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Document and report preliminary exam findings
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
Requirements:
- Graduate of a registry-approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
- Credential in echocardiography (RDCS or RCS)
- Two years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory cardiac sonographer (preferred)
