About the Role:

The OB Technician plays a vital role in supporting the Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP) team at St. Clare's Health. This position requires a team player who can work cooperatively with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients of various ages, including neonates, adolescents, and adults.
  • Assist with completion and processing of birth certificates and "Declaration of Paternity" forms.
  • Interact with physicians, patients, families/significant others, hospital staff, and community agencies to provide basic care.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • BLS Certification within 30 days and maintain current
  • Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT, ROP, Paramedic Training Program, Certified Surgical Scrub Technician or equivalent required (State Specific)
