We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated new graduate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Nurse Residency Program at Wellstar Health System. As a new grad RN, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Role

The RN Resident will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to assigned patients in accordance with current Wellstar Standards of Care. You will work collaboratively with an interprofessional team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers to ensure that patients receive individualized, safe, and effective care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics
  • Participate in programs designed to support professional role transition, strengthen nursing practice comprehension, critical thinking, and clinical skills
  • Collaborate with Unit-Based Leaders, Educators, NRP RN educators, Site Coordinators, and Unit-Based Preceptors to ensure a smooth transition into professional practice
  • Participate in data collection, pose relevant clinical questions, and proactively plan for the care of patients across the care continuum
Requirements
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing program
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree BSN Preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English language
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word
